Are you our Marcomms & IR Associate?
Join Greencode Ventures as a Marcomms & IR Associate — Fuel Europe’s Green Digital Revolution
About Greencode Ventures
At Greencode Ventures, we back what matter: high-impact, early-stage startups using digital technology to tackle the climate crisis. We invest in bold teams building scalable solutions in green energy, sustainable mobility, clean industry, and critical built environment and infrastructure.
With headquarters in Finland and offices in Helsinki, Stockholm, Essen, and Munich, we invest across Europe. Our first fund, one of Finland’s largest first funds, is active and well performing. Now, we're gearing up towards the Fund II.
Your Role: Marcomms & IR Associate (f/m/d)
This is a first-of-its-kind role at Greencode — designed for someone who wants to build the fund alongside us, not just support it. As our IR and Marketing & Communications Associate, you will be at the core of our external engagement: shaping how we show up to the world, how we connect with current and future investors, and how we build a standout brand in European VC and climate tech.
You’ll work closely with the senior team across fundraising, investor relations, brand, events, and media, helping steer our most strategic communications. You’ll take full ownership of key workstreams and be encouraged to tailor the role to your strengths and ambition.
This is a role for a proactive operator, a natural project manager, and a creative communicator who understands how to make things happen in a fast-moving VC environment.
What You’ll Do
- Create and coordinate high-quality newsletters, press releases, and social media content.
- Manage the website and ensure strong visibility through search rankings and relevant listings. SEO skills required.
- Manage content and logistics for events and conferences.
- Ideate newsworthy stories and work with journalists to engage in the current topics that are aligned with the Greencode mission.
- Lead marketing efforts around portfolio companies, new investments, LP updates, and fund announcements.
- Ensure Greencode has a strong, consistent voice in the European VC and green transition space.
Execute according to the fundraising plan and annual wheel, ensuring milestones, deliverables, and deadlines are met, including:
- Execute day-to-day activities of the fundraising process.
- Identify and engage prospective LPs.
- Prepare and polish fundraising materials – from decks and updates to case studies and data room content.
- Plan and execute LP events, investor roadshows, and strategic meetings.
- Support the team in follow-up, meeting prep, and tailored communication with prospective investors.
- Contribute to the development of the LP pipeline, for example by ensuring that the CRM system is optimized for successful fundraising and kept fully up to date.
Who You Are
- Relevant prior work experience: 3+ years of experience in marketing, communications, investor relations, fundraising, and/or project management — ideally in VC, startups, consulting, finance, or a fast-paced mission-driven environment.
- Highly structured and detail-oriented: You possess strong project management skills and know how to ensure that all tasks are timely completed across multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent communicator: A clear, confident communicator, with excellent English writing and editing skills. (German is a plus.)
- Proactive & resourceful: You are able to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines simultaneously.
- Technical & Digital Fluency: You understand how digital businesses scale — from AI and SaaS to energy, mobility, and industrial tech. You’re fluent in the language of both tech and finance, know what different types of LPs look for, and can run data-driven communication efforts with ease.
- Sharp & Entrepreneurial: You’re commercially astute, highly driven, and thrive in a dynamic, self-directed environment. Strong capabilities to work as one team from multiple locations.
- Values-orientation: You are driven by curiosity, respect and transformation, and understand that we win as a team.
What We Offer
- A high-impact, fund-building role at the heart of one of Europe’s leading climate tech VC firms.
- Real ownership and exposure to fund strategy, LP relations, and brand positioning.
- Opportunity to learn from and work closely with senior leaders and investors.
- A mission-driven, ambitious, and collaborative work environment.
